Steve and the team are a blend of expert knowledge, skills and passion – and we’d like to think the ultimate formula for a great mortgage.

Steve Westlake

Founder & Mortgage Adviser

Steve Westlake started out in Financial Services working for Standard Life back in 1988, before working with a large IFA up until 1991.

Between 91-96 Steve worked for the C&G as a Business Development Manager responsible for Intermediary accounts.

In 1996 he was headhunted by Chase De Vere and became one of their top 5 mortgage brokers in the UK.

In 2004 he decided that he wanted to set up business on his own and has looked after his own clients successfully ever since.

Westlake Mortgages have dealt with all types of clients from very high profile media clients to first time buyers taking their first steps on the property ladder.
